The Yoakum County Commissioners Court met in regular session on Monday, March 16, where they addressed their weekly agenda.
Moving into the agenda the Court moved to audit and settle all accounts against the County and direct their payments. After looking over the bills and addressing any concerns a motion was made and unanimously approved to pay County bills that totaled $91,125.27 and Medical facility bills that totaled $294,144.01.
Moving into the agenda the Court unanimously approved the February 2020, monthly report from the Sheriff’s office which showed $585 in fees collected.
Due to the COVID 19 virus Commissioners unanimously approved a motion to table setting a date for an online auction with Rene Bates. This item will be placed on a future agenda.
In the next item the Court approved County Auditor Darinda McWhirter’s report to certify revenues and present budget amendment to expend donation revenue in the amount of $8,263 for the Plains cemetery.
There were no road crossing permit applications, several request for the disposal of computer related items, three-line item transfers, and no Soil Conservation request.
Commissioners Woody Lindsey, Ray Marion, Tommy Box, and Tim Addison along with Judge Jim Barron were all in attendance.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 23, starting at 10 am.
