Feb. 27, 1942 – Nov. 13, 2024
Virginia Lee Clark born 2/27/42 in Seattle Washington, went running into the arms of Jesus on 11/13/24. She was surrounded by her family as she stepped into the glory of heaven. Virginia raised three daughters Melinda(Brad) of South Lake, Leshana Clark of Brownfield, Amy Rosales(Sy) of Lubbock.

“Mom” as we called her, was an amazing woman. A masterfully skilled seamstress and demolitionist(she loved tearing down walls)…she could do just about anything she put her mind to, and usually did. She rode the country side surveying crops and the goings on of everyone around her. She enjoyed chit-chatting with everyone she came in contact with, regaling them with tales of the history books or more recently, football games she had been enjoying. Never meeting a stranger, she had friends everywhere. Her 40 years of sobriety brought her much pride, and many friends that will miss her wisdom and laughter. We will all miss her antics, hugs, back-rubs, and her zany ability to see others around her.
Mom will be deeply missed by her daughters, 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Her sister, Suzanne Becker, will be missing their early morning calls to cuss and discuss their families and differences in politics. Her mother and dad, Lily and Everette Armstrong, and sister Peggy were no doubt waiting for her with open arms, coffee, and a pack of heavenly smokes. Mom lovingly donated her body to the Texas Tech School of Medicine, so they can research what kept her ticking and kicking for the next generation.
Family will be celebrating her life at a later time.
Memorials may be made to your favorite charity in her name.
