Funeral services for Adalyn Jade Scott, 14, of Brownfield will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm Brownfield Funeral Home with Nickie Clare officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 Friday, August 14, 2026 at Brownfield Funeral Home.
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we remember Adalyn, who left us far too soon on August 10, 2026. Born on October 3, 2011, Adalyn brought fourteen precious years of light, laughter, and love into the lives of all who knew her. Adalyn’s life, though brief, was a beautiful testament to kindness, curiosity, and joy. She possessed a gentle spirit that touched everyone she met, uplifting family with her warm smile and boundless energy. Those fortunate enough to spend time with Adalyn will remember her laughter echoing in the air, the spark of playfulness in her eyes, and even when showing her “Addy-tude”, made every day brighter. Adalyn was preceded in death by “Popo” George Ramirez and brother, Daniel (DJ) Ramirez.
Adalyn is survived by her parents, Marissa Scott and husband Lee McDonald and Daniel and Ericka Ramirez; siblings, Ethan Scott, Nathan Scott and Jo’Lynn Ramirez; grandparents, Irma Ramirez, Michael Scott and Crystal Scott; great grandparents, Becky Scott and Clara L. Ramirez; aunts, Nicki and Gilbert Salas, Samuel Ramirez, Juan Ramirez, and Crystal (CJ) Scott and cousins, Kimberly, Nalleli, Natalia, Miranda, Micah and Emily.
