R. Stanley WrightMemorial services for R. Stanley Wright, 86, will be held Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 10:30 AM in the First Baptist Church of Denver City, TX with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. He passed away May 31, 2016 in Denver City.

Stanley was born October 24, 1929 in Levelland, TX to E.W. and Mary Wright. He married Juanita Raines on October 27, 1956. Stanley graduated from Sundown in 1949.  He served in the US Army. Stanley was a Pumper for Amoco for 35 years. He served as the Royal Ambassador leader for many years and also coached Little League baseball for over 10 years. He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Wright and a nephew Dirk Wright.

Stanley is survived by his wife, Juanita Wright of Denver City, TX; 2 sons, Todd Wright and his wife Dana of Llano, TX, Kevin Wright and his wife LaFonda of Georgetown, TX; a daughter, Stanita Wright of Denver City, TX; a brother, Guerry Wright and his wife Ann of Follett, TX; a sister, Lu Dean Taylor and her husband Floyd of Whiteface, TX; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

The family will have visitation on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 6:00 – 7:30 PM in the First Baptist Church.
