Plains High School held their academic awards Tuesday, May 17, 2016, and showed its pride for the students who have worked diligently throughout the school year. From achieving state qualification in several events, to just doing their best locally, Plains ISD was proud of its students, and so are we as a community.
Mr. Taylor, who is the High School Principal at Plains ISD, started the night off by quoting George Washington Carver: “There is no short cut to achievement. Life requires thorough preparation – veneer isn’t worth anything.”
Here is a list of those who achieved recognition for all their hard work.
