Funeral Mass for Lorenzo Torres, 78, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 17, 2022 in the St. William Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating, with interment following in the Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City
Lorenzo passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Lubbock, Texas.
Lorenzo was born on February 27, 1943 in San Ignacio, Texas to Jose and Damiana Torres Lorenzo married Bobbie Crider on March 21, 1964 in Zapata, Texas. He worked for Spartan Services transporting clients to and from to doctors appointments. He was a member of the St. William Catholic Church of Denver City, Texas. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bobbie; a son Lorenzo Torres Jr; a daughter-in-law Cenci Torres; a great grandson Landon Torres; a brother and a sister.
Lorenzo is survived by 2 sons Joey Torres and his wife Cindy, Mikeal Torres all of Denver City; three daughters Tammy Matta and her husband Albert, Maria Sellers and her husband Jamie, Crystle Torres and her husband Joe Baeza all of Denver City; a brother Jose Maria Torres; along with twenty-six grandchildren; thirty-six great grandchildren.
Rosary is be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
