Plains High School is excited to announce its partnerships with Western Texas College, South Plains College, Angelo State University, and the University of Texas Permian Basin. Through these partnerships Plains High School is able to offer a wide variety of Dual Credit courses. Courses such as College English, Spanish, Music appreciation, US History and many others. The selection of courses is growing each year as we meet the needs of our students.
Dual credit courses are available for any student 9-12 who demonstrates they meet the college readiness standards set by the State of Texas. Students can prove their college readiness in a variety of ways; including the Texas Success Initiative Assessment (TSI), End of Course Exams (EOC’s), ACT, PSAT, and the SAT.
