The Commissioners Court met in regular session on Wednesday, December 28, where they addressed their weekly agenda.
The regular meeting time had been changed from Monday to Wednesday due to Christmas day falling on Sunday and the Courthouse being closed on Monday and Tuesday.
A motion was made by Commissioner Tim Addison and seconded by Commissioner Ty Earl Powell to audit and settle all accounts against the county and direct their payments.
In the next item a motion was made and unanimously approved to approve a Protect Managed Services Agreement with Computer Transition Services Inc. CTSI handles all computer related items in the county.
In the next item a motion was made to approve a road crossing petition from Wishbone Texas Operating Company. All the paper work and fees had been presented to Judge Jim Barron. The work will take place in Precinct 2. The motion was unanimously approved.
There was one request for the disposal of a computer related item, some line item transfers, and no Soil Conservation request.
Commissioner Ray Marion said frame work has started on the new Denver City Community Building.
Commissioners Woody Lindsey, Ray Marion, Ty Earl Powell, and Tim Addison along with Judge Jim Barron were all in attendance.
Because of New Year’s Day falling on Sunday and the Courthouse being closed on Monday the next regular Court meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 3 at 10 am.
