Coach Carver said, “The girls played hard all 4 quarters last night. It’s been a challenge combining teams as we are low in numbers. Overall, we’re laying the foundation of accountability, consistency, leadership, trust, and the buy in. I can’t complain about our effort because we go hard the whole time and never back down.
Trusting the process is never easy when you have young players who are learning the game and learning the new coaching styles. Overall, I’ll choose this team day in and day out.
winning and losing doesn’t matter to me, what matters is the growth that comes with winning and losing and how we apply it to life. We are a young group and I have been throwing A LOT of different things at them on and off the court to expand their knowledge within the game and life.
We will grow and learn as we continue to play.”
