Track Teams Compete In Seminole Meet

Both Mustang and Fillie varsity track teams took part in the Seminole Tribe Relays held last week in Seminole.

The varsity Mustangs finished in 4th place with 104 points and the varsity Fillies finished in 3rd place with 107 points. In the boys and the girls division San Angelo Lake View won their respective divisions with 126 and 128 points.

In the individual results Cole McLeroy won first in the 100 meters and Aaron Cordova was 6th; in the 400 meters McLeroy was 2nd and David Palma was 6th; in the 800 meters Cristian Cortez was 3rd, Kade Patterson was 4th, and Jaryd Ivy was 6th; in the 1600 and 3200 meters Luke Maxwell was 2nd; in the 110 meter hurdles Ivan Valverde was 4th; in the 300 meter hurdles Valverde was 5th; in the 4X100 meter relay the Mustangs were 6th; in the 4X200 meter relay the Mustangs were 3rd; and in the 4X400 relay the Mustangs were 3rd.

In the field events Broedy Burris was 2nd in the discus; in the high jump David Palma was 2nd and Luke Maxwell was 4th; and in the Pole Vault Justin Bressler was 6th.

For the varsity Fillies Melissa Mendoza was 2nd in the 100 meters; Karley David was 1st in the 200 meters; in the 400 meters Raegan Calk was 3rd and Macy Jordan was 6th; in the 800 meters Cas Moore was 2nd, Britney Dyck was 3rd, and Raegan Calk was 6th; in the 1600 and 3200 meters Lupita Guttierrez was 4th and Elizabeth Valverde was 5th; in the 100 meter hurdles Katy Patterson was 3rd; in the 300 meter hurdles Katy Patterson was 6th; the 4X100 Relay team was 4th; the 4X200 Relay was 5th; and the 4X400 Relay was 3rd.

In the field events Yesenia Trinidad was 5th in the high jump, 2nd in the Pole Vault and 5th in the triple jump; and Karley David was 1st in the Long Jump.

Both teams competed in the Angelo State Relays over the weekend.
