Track Teams Compete In Seminole Meet

Both Mustang and Fillie varsity track teams took part in the Seminole Tribe Relays held last week in Seminole.

The varsity Mustangs finished in 4^th place with 104 points and the varsity Fillies finished in 3^rd place with 107 points. In the boys and the girls division San Angelo Lake View won their respective divisions with 126 and 128 points.

In the individual results Cole McLeroy won first in the 100 meters and Aaron Cordova was 6^th; in the 400 meters McLeroy was 2^nd and David Palma was 6^th; in the 800 meters Cristian Cortez was 3^rd, Kade Patterson was 4^th, and Jaryd Ivy was 6^th; in the 1600 and 3200 meters Luke Maxwell was 2^nd; in the 110 meter hurdles Ivan Valverde was 4^th; in the 300 meter hurdles Valverde was 5^th; in the 4X100 meter relay the Mustangs were 6^th; in the 4X200 meter relay the Mustangs were 3^rd; and in the 4X400 relay the Mustangs were 3^rd.

In the field events Broedy Burris was 2^nd in the discus; in the high jump David Palma was 2^nd and Luke Maxwell was 4^th; and in the Pole Vault Justin Bressler was 6^th.

For the varsity Fillies Melissa Mendoza was 2^nd in the 100 meters; Karley David was 1^st in the 200 meters; in the 400 meters Raegan Calk was 3^rd and Macy Jordan was 6th; in the 800 meters Cas Moore was 2^nd, Britney Dyck was 3^rd, and Raegan Calk was 6^th; in the 1600 and 3200 meters Lupita Guttierrez was 4^th and Elizabeth Valverde was 5^th; in the 100 meter hurdles Katy Patterson was 3^rd; in the 300 meter hurdles Katy Patterson was 6^th; the 4X100 Relay team was 4^th; the 4X200 Relay was 5^th; and the 4X400 Relay was 3^rd.

In the field events Yesenia Trinidad was 5^th in the high jump, 2^nd in the Pole Vault and 5^th in the triple jump; and Karley David was 1^st in the Long Jump.

Both teams competed in the Angelo State Relays over the weekend.
