Members of the Seagraves Police Department are looking for information regarding puppies that we left at the Seagraves Housing Authority Apartments in the 1100 block of Ave. D. The statement by the PD said the puppies are not weaned, and could not even open their eyes. The abandonment of any animal is a Class A misdemeanor, Texas Penal Code 42.092, punishable by a fine of up to 4,000.00, up to 1 year in jail, or both fine and jail. The Seagraves Police Department and Seagraves Animal Control are currently searching for the individual(s) responsible for this crime.
