Roberto Mora Hernandez, a lifelong resident of Brownfield, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the age of 64. He will be missed by all that knew him. Roberto was born on February 27, 1960 in Lubbock to Jose and Susana (Mora) Hernandez. Roberto enjoyed riding motorcycles and participating in road rallies when he was able. He was an avid coin collector. He would walk across to the local hospital cafeteria every morning to get his exercise and his cup of coffee.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Mark Anthony Vela, and Fernando Hernandez; siblings, Alicia Moin and husband Joe, Luis Hernandez and wife Gennie, Carlos Hernandez, Leticia Hernandez, and Graciela Infante and husband Pedro; and two granddaughters.
Roberto is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Susana Hernandez, and one brother Javier Hernandez.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Brownfield Cemetery. Cremation services under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home, Brownfield , Texas.
