Brownfield Comes Together for Holy Week Worship & Fellowship

by Eric

Holy Week is a long-standing and meaningful tradition in Brownfield and across Terry County, faithfully hosted each year by the Terry County Ministerial Alliance. Over the years, it has grown into a special time for our community to come together—setting aside the busyness of daily life to worship, reflect, and share in fellowship with one another. It is more than just a series of services; it is a unified expression of faith, bringing together churches, families, and individuals from all walks of life.

This year, Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday, March 29, 2026, marking the start of a week centered on remembrance, worship, and preparation leading up to Easter. Beginning Monday, March 30, through Friday, April 3 (Good Friday), the community is invited to gather each day from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. for a time of worship, encouragement, and a shared meal. These midday services provide a meaningful opportunity for people to pause during their day, reconnect spiritually, and enjoy fellowship with others in the community.

In addition to worship and fellowship, the Terry County Ministerial Alliance will receive a daily offering. These contributions play an important role in supporting local ministry efforts, meeting community needs, and providing scholarships that invest in the future of Terry County.

Holy Week continues to be a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together in faith, unity, and service. Everyone is encouraged to attend, participate, and be a part of this special time in Brownfield.
