Funeral services for Angelita Davila, 82, of Seagraves were held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the El Segundo Pathway Church with interment to follow in the Gaines Co. Cemetery in Seagraves under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. She passed away Sunday in Seagraves.
Angelita was born on Aug. 2, 1933, in Robstown, Texas, to Primitivo and Estafana Ramon. She married Erineo Davila on May 15, 1948, in Sinton, Texas, She moved to Seagraves in 1962. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Angelita was preceded in death by her husband, Erineo on May 19, 1982; a son, Mauricio, a sister, Elma Balboa, and a brother, Miguel Ramon.
She is survived by six sons, Eddie Davila Jr. and his wife, Corina of Seagraves, Alex Davila Sr. and his wife, Maria of Denver City, Carlos Davila and his wife, Rachel of Andrews, Procopio Davila and his wife, Yolanda of Seagraves, Victor Davila Sr. and his wife, Deyma of Andrews, Miguel Davila of Lubbock, and Adam Davila and his wife, Rebecca of Seagraves; two daughters, Carmen Davila and son-in-law Raymond Martinez of Seagraves and Esmeralda Nunez of Denton, Texas; two brothers, Celso Ramon of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Marcos Ramon of Bishop, Texas; four sisters, Eva Ramon of Banquete, Texas, Felipa Flores of St. Paul, Texas, Maria Ramirez of Driscoll, Texas, and Martha Ramon of Corpus Christi, Texas; along with 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
