Randy was born on November 9, 1949, in Afton, Wyoming, to Alvin and Kathleen Erickson.

Randy married the love of his life, Judy. Together they shared 50 wonderful years of marriage filled with love, hard work, and devotion to their family. They were blessed with one son, Curtis Erickson.

Curtis married Shayla, and together they have three children: Caleb, Landree, and Parker. Landree’s boyfriend, Lowell Sittre, was also a valued member of Randy’s extended family.

Randy dedicated more than 50 years of his life to farming. He believed in the value of honest work and took great pride in caring for the land. Those who knew him will remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was a patient, kind-hearted man whose quiet strength, generous spirit, and unwavering love for his family touched everyone around him.

Above all else, Randy treasured time spent with his family. His legacy lives on through the values he instilled, the example he set, and the many memories shared by those who loved him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Judy Erickson; his son, Curtis Erickson, and wife, Shayla; his cherished grandchildren, Caleb, Landree, and Parker Erickson; Landree’s boyfriend, Lowell Sittre; and his siblings Sister Peggy, Brother Craig and wife Lynn, Sister in Law Sheila, Sister Susie and husband Carl, Brother Cleve and wife Annie, Brother Chad and Wife Deb, Brother Bart and wife Anna, Sister Jenny and husband Glenn. Mother-in-law Pat Park, Sister-in-law Cindy Leverett and husband Trent, and his many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Kathleen; father-in-law Natt Park; brother Larry and wife LaRue; brother Mike; and brother-in-law Dave.

He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his love, guidance, and the many memories they shared together.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel, 6025 82nd Street. A graveside service will immediately follow in Tahoka, Texas.
