Graveside Service for Shirley Ann Campbell of Slaton will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 14, 2023, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Shirley passed away at her home on July 10, 2023. She was born on October 16, 1940, in Kilgore, Texas to Willie Lee and Lorena Morris.
Shirley married O. F. “Bud” Campbell on January 21, 1959. Together, they enjoyed having coffee and conversation as well as dancing and fishing. They were hosts to many gatherings at their home for family or friends. Shirley’s favorite job was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Hearts Together Church of Christ in Slaton, Texas. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud, brother Bill Morris, and grandson, Max Campbell.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Pam Campbell of Lubbock, her son Cullen and daughter-in-law, Melissa Campbell, grandson, Blake and granddaughter, Nicole, all of Lubbock, and her son, Shannon and daughter-in-law Gayla Campbell, granddaughters Kaitlin and Haley, all of Burleson. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
