Genie Christian Walker was born May 8, 1942, in Lubbock, Texas, to Addie Lee (Terrell) Christian and Joe William Christian. She passed away on April 2, 2023, in Lubbock, Texas.
She graduated from Brownfield High School and attended Long Beach State in California and Texas Western College in El Paso, Texas. Family and friends benefitted from her love and care. She liked to watch Texas Ranger Baseball, play card games, dominoes, and word search. She collected bells and fans. She lived in several panhandle towns, but she always found a church where she could worship and serve God.
She is survived by her children, James Christian Hall (Angela) and Julia Rae Hall Kindle (Lee); daughter-in-law Cindy Hall; sister Mary Joe Christian Hamilton (Mike); 10 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Grandchildren Bryan Hall and Brittany Allen Hernandez lived with her.
The family suggests donations in her memory to your favorite charities.
