Texas Tech and Oklahoma State will meet for the first time this season at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The Red Raiders (12-11, 1-9 Big 12) are coming off an 89-62 loss at No. 11 Baylor last Saturday, while the Cowboys (14-9, 5-5 Big 12) extended their winning streak to three games with a 79-73 win over No. 17 TCU at home. OSU is currently 10-2 at Gallagher-Iba this season going into its matchup against Tech which is now 0-5 in conference road games. The two teams will meet again in the regular-season finale at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 4 in Lubbock.

Kevin Obanor leads Tech this season with 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game, while De’Vion Harmon is at 12.8 points per game after leading the Red Raiders with 20 points at Baylor. A fifth-year senior, Obanor comes into the matchup against OSU with 2,028 points and 1,034 rebounds in his career. Last season in Stillwater, Obanor recorded a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds in a one-point loss. He began his career with three seasons at Oral Roberts in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Harmon leads Tech with 3.6 assists and 1.9 steals per game and is coming off his fifth straight double-figure scoring performance, while Jaylon Tyson recorded his third double-double of the season by matching a career-high with 19 points and securing 10 rebounds at Baylor. Tyson is now averaging 9.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. Tech freshman Pop Isaacs missed his third straight game at Baylor and is listed as day-to-day. He leads the Red Raiders with 13.9 points per game in Big 12 play and with 47 3-pointers.

OSU is led by Kalib Boone who is at 12.2 points and 5.2 rebounds per game, followed by Avery Anderson who is averaging 11.1 points, and Bryce Thompson (10.8) to give the Cowboys three scorers in double-figures. Anderson leads OSU with 3.4 assists and 1.5 steals per game, while Moussa Cisse leads the Big 12 with 2.3 blocks per game and is second in the conference with 8.3 rebounds per game. Tyreek Smith began his college career at Texas Tech where he averaged 2.6 points and 2.4 rebounds in 29 games as a freshman reserve. He’s currently averaging 4.9 points, and 3.6 rebounds and is ninth in the Big 12 with 1.0 blocks. OSU jumped out to a 43-29 halftime lead over TCU on Saturday and held on for the six-point win after following victories over Oklahoma and Ole Miss to begin the three-game winning streak. Boone led the Cowboys against TCU with a career-high 25 points and six rebounds in a game where he was 11-for-15 from the field. Caleb Asberry, who is averaging just over 8 points per game, added 19 points with three 3-pointers while Wright scored 17 points with four 3-pointers. Wright transferred from High Point and leads OSU with 1,709 career points.
Boone was named the Big 12 Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after averaging 21.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in the wins over TCU and OU.
Texas Tech is looking to snap a three-game losing streak in Stillwater with its last win coming in a 78-50 victory on February 13, 2019.
