A meeting of the UIL Standing Committee on Athletics will be held on June 13, 2023, at the Austin Marriott North according to the following agenda, unless otherwise announced by the Chair. The standing committee meeting will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the full Council meeting which begins at 8:00 a.m.
The purpose of this committee is to consider proposals for changes in the UIL Constitution and Contest Rules that have athletic-related aspects in order to report recommendations to the Legislative Council on June 13, 2023. The meeting is a business meeting of the committee and not a public hearing. Thus, presentations may not be made by outside groups or individuals during this meeting. If one of the committee members needs clarification, questions may be asked of those in attendance. The UIL Director or a designated member of the UIL staff and Legislative Council members not assigned to this committee shall be recognized to speak on any issue.
