Today’s TownTalk Show was a great one, and we learned a lot! Tillery Sims joined Eric Horton this morning for an informative conversation about NASA Acres and how NASA is working with agriculture to better understand farmers’ and producers’ needs.
Tillery also discussed the Farm Innovation Ambassador Team, or FIAT, and its role in bringing together agriculture, technology, research, and innovation. The discussion highlighted how new ideas and information can help producers make better decisions and prepare for the future of farming.
The show also previewed an upcoming roundtable meeting NASA will hold with area farmers and producers on Monday, August 24. The meeting will give those involved in agriculture a chance to join the conversation, share their experiences, and learn more about how NASA Acres and its partners are working with the agricultural community.
