Susan Wheeler-Iverson

Susan Wheeler-Iverson, 62, of Fulscher, formerly of Terry County, Texas passed away Feb. 15, 2016. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Susan graduated from Dawson High School in Welch, Texas. She attended South Plains College in Levelland, Texas and also received advanced education as a legal assistant. She worked in the legal field for a number of companies including Marathon Oil, Enron, Southern Union, Energy Transfer and Penntex. Susan had numerous friends from all walks of life and was a huge fan of Houston rodeo concerts featuring country and western musicians. She also supported animal rescue and loved her puppies. Susan is survived by husband, Andy Iverson of Fulshear Texas; mother, Johnie Pye; brothers, Mark and Randy, all of Brownfield, Texas; and her niece, Courtney Pye of Lubbock, Texas. She was predeceased by her father, Carl Pye. Donations can be sent to Boarding for Rescues in El Campo, Texas (boardingforrescues.com) or other animal rescue or charity of your choice.
