August 27, 1952 – January 2, 2025
Susan Ann Joplin, 72, of Brownfield, Texas, passed away on January 2nd. A beloved wife and mother will always be remembered for her outgoing personality, fun-loving spirit, and sense of humor.

Susan was born on August 27, 1952, to Phyllis Kezia (Hunt) and Frederick John Keel in Newbury, England. On December 23, 1997, she married the love of her life, Rickie Joplin. They enjoyed life together by spending time in Ruidoso, going to the beach in Mexico, and entertaining friends. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping with friends, and her dogs, Daisy and Holly. She had a passion for cooking, especially traditional British Sunday roasts.
Susan is survived by her husband, Rickie Joplin; son Brett Boren and wife Kaely Boren, daughter Erika Boren, step-son Bryan Joplin, step-daughter Ashley Rock, step-grandchildren Nicole and Hailey Joplin and brother Dennis Keel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Presley and her parents.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at First Christian Church on January 18 at 1pm.
