The South Plains Public Health Department released new numbers of COVID cases for Terry County late Monday. We have definitely had an uptick in our numbers.

229 Recovered

We have gone from less than 30 active cases a few weeks back to 66 now. We do have 229 recoveries and most of the active cases are recovering well at home. No word was issued on how many, if any, are hospitalized.
Terry County citizens are urged to use safe practices. With the Harvest Festival coming this week and Halloween just around the corner, citizens are asked to please wear masks when in close contact with others outside your household. We want to be able to keep our businesses open and our kids in school. So, please practice safe social distancing and wear a mask when needed.
