Funeral Services for Marion Royce “M.R.” Snider, 92, of Denver City will be held at 2:00 P.M, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Randy Gooch officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
M.R. passed away on Friday, October 2, 2020 in Denver City, Texas.
He was born May 29, 1928 in New Moore, Texas to Tully George and Athlene Maddox Snider. M.R. married Margie Doby on December 6, 1947 in Slaton, Texas, a member of the First Baptist Church and a long-time farmer in Denver City and Seagraves.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Margie Snider, a granddaughter Cathy Snider and a son-in-law Paul Peevy.
M.R. is survived by his son Ken Snider and his wife Troylene and a daughter Sharon Peevy all of Denver City; six grandchildren Tonya and Craig Stephens, Ken Jr. and Jessica Snider, John Peevy and Christy, Adam Peevy and Marci, Bray Peevy, Alesha Ford and Steve; twelve great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter.
Family visitation will be held from 6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m, Monday, October 5, 2020 in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel.
