Seagraves Police now have continuous K9 coverage

When he hears the theme song to the show “COPS,” Nikki, a six-year-old German Shepherd jumps into action, and is ready to hit the road.

Recently, Seagraves Police Chief Scott McAuley and K9 Niki, along with K9 Officer Cory Johnson and K9 Ex, traveled to Lubbock, in an effort to to certify through the NNDDA. Both K9 teams passed the certification. While this was the first time for Ex to be certified, McAuley and Niki were re-certified.

This means the City of Seagraves is now officially equipped with 24-hour, 7 days a week K9 protection and availability. Congratulations to both K9 teams for their achievements.
