Funeral services for Rosalva Marin, age 64 of Denver City, Texas were held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Vercelli Center, 304 West 4th Street in Denver City with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial followed at Denver City Memorial Park. All services are under the direction of Boyer Memorial Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mrs. Marin was born in Mexico on November 18, 1956 to Maria Del Rufugio (De Lara) and Antonio Gutierrez. She married Eleazar Marin in El Paso, Texas on March 23, 1974. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. Rosalva was very talented and creative in every way. She was always happy to comfort others and always had a smile on her face. She was a wonderful grandmother and always brought everyone together.
Rosalva Marin passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 from injuries received in an auto accident. She is preceded in death by her father, Antonio Gutierrez and one daughter, Veronica Flores. She is survived by her husband, Eleazar Marin of Denver City; two sons, Eleazar Marin and wife Daniela of Plains, Texas and Tony Marin of Denver City; one daughter, Ruby Gonzalez and husband Mario of Denver City; her mother, Maria Del Refugio Gutierrez of El Paso, Texas; six brothers, Ezequiel Gutierrez of Houston, Texas, Jose Antonio Gutierrez of Hobbs, New Mexico, Francisco Gutierrez of Denver City, Javier Gutierrez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ricardo Gutierrez of El Paso, Texas, and Arseño De Lara of El Paso, Texas; six sisters, Eustolia Venegas of El Paso, Texas, Maria Trinidad Najera of El Paso, Texas, Margarita Zamarripa of El Paso, Texas, Maria Guadalupe Chacon of El Paso, Texas, Maria Del Socorro Arambula of El Paso, Texas, and Garciela De Lara of Hobbs, New Mexico; and 14 grandchildren.
