Funeral services for Laura Marin, age 40 of Denver City, Texas were held Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Vercelli Center, 304 West 4th Street in Denver City with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial followed at Denver City Memorial Park. All services are under the direction of Boyer Memorial Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Ms. Marin was born December 22, 1980 in Seminole, Texas to Rosalva (Gutierrez) and Eleazar Marin. She was a Catholic and a homemaker. Laura always had a great sense of humor and was very supportive of her children and their activities. She even played and coached football and turned out to be great at teaching football. She enjoyed relaxing by the fire, listening to music, dancing, and arts and crafts; she also loved her two fur babies, Kaliko and Loki.
Laura Marin passed away Monday, July 12, 2021 from injuries received in an auto accident. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, her maternal grandfather, and one sister, Veronica Flores. She is survived by two sons, Adrian Aaron Zamarripa and Billy Joe Ramos, Jr., both of Denver City; two daughters, Andrea Guadalupe Zamarripa and Brianna Rose Ramos, both of Denver City; her father, Eleazar Marin of Denver City; two brothers, Eleazar Marin and wife Daniela, and Tony Marin, both of Denver City; one sister, Ruby Gonzalez and husband Mario of Denver City; and maternal grandmother, Maria Del Refugio (Cuca) Gutierrez of El Paso, Texas
