Results for the San Angelo and Fort Worth Stock Shows

Agriculture teachers Eric Harrel and Brandon Freel have announced the results of the recently held stock shows in both Ft. Worth and San Angelo.

Results from the Fort Worth show include Riley Boyd – 3rd place Lightweight York Barrow; Kate Hilburn – 6th place Exotic Steer; Reagan Calk – 6th place Exotic Steer;

Rafe Harrel – 7th place Middleweight Hereford Steer; Klaire Deaton – 7th place Heavyweight Hereford Steer; Noah Castillo – 9th place Heavyweight Hamp Barrow; Paige Williams – 13th place Heavyweight Southdown; Ashton Floyd – 16th place Exotic Steer; and Noah Castillo – 16th place Goat.

Others exhibitors were Kelly-Ann Deaton, Kurt Marion, Spencer Marion, Kodi Marion, Riley Calk, Tres Harrel, Rhett Harrel, Reagan Fontenot, Brandon McGee, Ty Brumley, and Caden Harrel.

Results from San Angelo were Kate Hilburn – 6th place Heavyweight British Steer;

Branson Fariss – 10th place Heavyweight Finewool Cross Lamb; Dakota Fariss – 11th place Heavyweight Medium Wool Lamb; Caitlin Williams – 16th place Heavyweight Southdown Lamb; and Paige Williams – 17th place Heavyweight Hair Sheep.

Other members who showed were Kolt Dierschke and Tanner Williams.

Future shows will include showing sheep and goats at the San Antonio Stock Show next week as well as barrows and gilts in San Angelo.

The following week many students will be showing steers and barrows in San Antonio. There will have a break until they go to Houston and Austin during spring break.
