Your Precinct 3 County Commissioner Martin Lefevere is running for reelection on November 5th, and he needs and will appreciate your vote. As Commissioner, Martin Lefevere has served Terry County well and has made progress in several areas for Pct 3. Some of those accomplishments include:
- Staying within budget while improving roads, safety measures, and updating equipment.
- Developing a team of 3 effective operators who work overtime as needed.
- Respecting taxpayer’s dollars by minimizing waste and overspending.
- Utilizing Grant funds for projects, including the County Road 260 Project.
Martin Lefevere, your Pct. 3 Commissioner is qualified to serve Terry County. Martin is a graduate of Texas Tech where he studied Ag Finance and earned his degree. Martin would go on to work for Texas Farm Bureau and after 34 years, he retired. As a field representative with Texas Farm Bureau, Martin worked with National and State Officials on important issues affecting our area and served on 15 county Boards regarding budgets and programs.
Martin and Susan Lefevere have farmed and ranched for over 50 years and have made Terry County their home for 47 years. They believe in TRUTH, GOD, and COUNTRY, along with HARD WORK. Susan retired from Texas Workforce in Brownfield after 25 years of service. Their son, Ryan Lefevere, graduated from Brownfield High School.
The Lefeveres understand conservation of our land, and they have seen how having qualified operators with good equipment can improve our county roads, including necessary access for rural homeowners. Martin’s plan for the future is to utilize his experience and work ethic, together with his desire to keep Terry County financially solid to benefit the residence of Precinct 3 and Terry County.
