The Plains Independent School District recently received notice earlier last week that our Food Services Department has received the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable grant for the coming year. This grant will provide $9941.65 for fresh snacks to be provided to students outside regular mealtime. Teresa Bell, our Cafeteria Manager, will be attending training and developing the plan for the implementation of this new program that will bring fresh and healthy snacks to our students.
