Funeral mass for Manuel Mendoza Jr, 30, will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Plains with Father Heriberto Mercado saying mass.
Services will be under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. Interment will follow in the Plains Cemetery. There will be a Rosary on January 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He passed away January 8, 2017 in Lubbock.
Manuel was born December 13, 1986 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Manuel and Lucy Mendoza. He was a student and a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Manuel is survived by his parents, Manuel and Lucy Mendoza of Plains; two sisters, Carmen Borunda and her husband Manuel of Lovington, Araceli Mendoza of Amarillo; maternal grandparents, Carmen Fierro of Chihuahua, Mexico; paternal grandparents, Ciriaco and Evangelina Mendoza of Lubbock; two nephews, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be greatly missed.
