Services for Lupe Najera, 72, of Brownfield will be held at 10 am at Meadow Church of Christ on Thursday, May 11, 2023, with Buddy Hamm officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Lupe was born on October 30, 1950 in Big Springs to Guadalupe and Antonia Gonzales. She married Johnny Najera on May 24, 1969 in Brownfield. She was a one-of-a-kind loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family. She loved the Dallas Cowboys; they were her team. Lupe was preceded in death by her parents, Guadalupe and Antonia Gonzales and 2 brothers, Larry and Jimmy Gonzales.
Lupe is survived by her husband Johnny Najera of Meadow; children, Annette Curiel and husband David of El Paso, Patricia Morin and husband Albert of Brownfield, John Najera and wife Mercedes of Brownfield and Lorrie Gonzales and husband Eric of Brownfield; grandchildren, Alexander, Devin, Samantha, Téa, Joslynn, Juan, Joseph, Paisley and Hazel; great-granddaughter, Skylar; brother, Ruben; and sisters, Mary, Rosa, Sylvia and Aurora.
