Earlier this morning, Thursday, March 7, 2024, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Investigation (FBI) and the Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) raided a home in Brownfield located at 1218 E. Cardwell. While investigating, TownTalk learned that the property that was raided belonged to Joel Kenady. According to the Lubbock County Jail roster, Joel Banjamin Kenady was arrested at 1218 E. Cardwell in Brownfield on March 7, 2024. The charge is listed as a “Federal Warrant or Detainer”. TownTalk has not been able to gain info into why Kenady has a federal warrant.
