
Howard E. Brown, age 65, passed from this life on October 12, 2015 in Frisco, TX.
Celebration of life will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Brownfield, Texas with Rev. Eugene Reed, SR. officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brownfield, Texas.
Personal services have been entrusted to Mark A Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.
Howard was born to Jeffery and Doris Brown on May 27, 1950 in Seguin, TX. He lived in Brownfield all his life. Howard married Wanda Jones on November 30, 1991 in Brownfield and together they moved to Plano in 2012.
He worked for Thermal Fluids in Brownfield for more than 20 years and retired in 2002.
He was a member of Hester Memorial AME Church and joined Wheatley Heritage Asso. of Brownfield in 2010. Howard also served as treasurer for Hester Memorial AME.
His family remembers how he loved to watch westerns, spend time with his grandkids and how he liked to cook. Howard was a jack off all trades he was a mechanic, plumber, and roofer. He enjoyed life and love to be socializing with everyone.
Those left to cherish his memories are wife, of 23 years, Wanda Brown, of the home; 3 sons: Jeremy Agers of Plano; Sylvester Fininen of Pecos; Howard Brown, JR of Houston; 4 daughters: Carolyn Young with Husband Aubrey of Lubbock; Jamie Agers of Plano; Katherine Fininen of Duncanville; and Denise Fulbright of Houston; 6 brothers: Maurice, Dewayne and Eugene Brown all of Brownfield; Charles, Melvin, and Stacey Brown all of Amarillo; 5 sisters: Leola Smith of Brownfield; Diane Blandford, Brenda Pugh and Janice Hinton all of Amarillo; Gwen Phillips of San Antonio; 9 adopted children and a special friend: Mark Langston of The Colony.
He was also blessed with 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother: Clarence Pitts; 2 sisters: Clarice Mason and JoAnn Blanton.
