In 2005, she received a Master of Science in Nurse Education and spent the next decade in nursing education in both hospital and academic settings. In 2013, Elizabeth received a Post-master’s Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery. She has predominately practiced nurse-midwifery in birthing centers helping families choose what is best for their needs. BRMC and Elizabeth Tombs are excited to provide women and their families new options for pregnancy, labor/birth, postpartum, and newborn developmental needs. Elizabeth will also be providing a variety of women’s health and reproductive care at BRMC Clinic. Elizabeth is accepting new patients at BRMC Clinic and will be providing natural birthing services at BRMC’s new birthing center.
