One thing about Brownfield and Terry County citizens, they know how to give. As we are well into the season of giving, many groups are stepping up to make donations to Goodfellows.
Goodfellows is an organization that makes sure all those deserving kids in Terry County, who might otherwise have no Christmas, get gifts.
To do this, these fine folks need our help. There are donation barrels in several locations around town, or you can bring new, unused toys to City Hall, or make cash donations there.
This week, the Brownfield Post Office got into the act, making a donation of toys and canned goods from their employees.
Also, the Lone Star State Bank stepped up and made a donation of toys. Both of these donations were accepted by the City Electric Utility Department, Sheriff Timothy Click, and City Manager Jeff Davis.
