Coral Patricia “Patsy” Franks was called home to our Lord and Savior on December 8, 2021. Patsy was born on July 8, 1936, in Montgomery, Alabama to Charlie and Helen who preceded her in death. She graduated from Brownfield High School in 1954. Patsy was a long-time resident of Midland, TX where she spent most of her career working for various oil companies. Patsy’s love for country music, especially Jody Nix, sports, and unconditional love for her family were the most important things in her life.
Patsy was a loving Mother, caring Wife, Grandma, Gigi, Sister, Aunt, and most importantly an amazing person to all that knew her. Pasty will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by her family and friends. She is survived by her husband John Franks of 8 years. Her son Kenneth Fleming II, his wife Helga, grandsons Kenny and Shane, and her great-grandchildren Nolan and Nathan. Patsy was predeceased by her sisters Joyce and Joann.
Visitation will be held at Brownfield Funeral Home on Monday, December 13, 2021, from 6 pm – 8 pm. Funeral service will be held at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at 10 am, with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.
