Etha Mae Dolloff Bandy passed away on January 26, 2022 at the age of 96. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am-10:00 am Tuesday, February 1, 2022 in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seagraves. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery at 11:00 am under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.

Mae was born December 30, 1925 to Lon C. Dolloff and Vada Ballard Dolloff. Mae grew up surrounded by her parents and siblings and spent her entire school career in Seagraves. She was so proud of her school, community, and church. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Seagraves for 73 years. Mae married John Wesley Bandy, Jr. on January 11, 1948. Mae and J.W. owned Bandy’s Food Market in Seagraves for 25 years. After retiring in 1988 Mae enjoyed quilting, gardening, and canning the many products of the huge garden she and J.W. would have every year. She was a wonderful baker and her grandchildren will always remember her special “Nannie” cinnamon rolls! 

Mae was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Bandy, Jr., son, Joe Raymond Bandy, son-in-law Vester Joiner, her parents, Lon and Vada Dolloff, and 12 siblings. 

Survivors include daughters Sandra Joiner of Katy, Donna Meeker (Richard) of Buda, and son David Bandy (Donna) of Seagraves. Grandchildren Dusty Joiner (Lydia), Susanna Schlangen (Robert), Amanda Byrd (Shane), Wade Meeker (Tiera), Wesley Meeker (Nichole), Jason Bandy, Jeremy Bandy, and Jordan Mijares (Lewis), and 20 great-children.
