Mike and Marla Swaringen of Brownfield are proud to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Lauren to Chris Williams, son of Gerry and Karon Klahr of Allen, Texas, and Kylan Williams of Robinson, Texas. The couple will be married December 29, 2023 at Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne, Texas. The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Brownfield High School and a 2009 graduate of Asbury College with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She received her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas Tech University in 2017.
She teaches 8th-grade Language Arts and Reading and is the Content Team Lead at Trent Middle School in Frisco, Texas. Chris is a 2003 graduate of Plano East Senior High School and a 2009 graduate of Texas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration Management. He works for the Texas Attorney General’s office. Following the wedding, the couple will reside in Celina, Texas.
