Ella Mae Alexander left this life to be with Jesus on September 20, 2023, at UMC in Lubbock Texas. She was born on May 22, 1937. Ella was a lifelong resident of Brownfield. She married Kenneth Ray Grimes in 1955 and married Jerry Alexander in 1967. Ella had four children with Kenneth and Jerry. Ella adopted twins in 1969.
Ella was preceded in death by Kenneth and Jerry a son Burton and baby Billy Ray, and a grandson.
Ella is survived by her daughters Tonia of Arlington and Donna of Brownfield, two sons Tony of Florida and Richard and wife Ida, and one brother. She has 5 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and a host of friends.
