Celebration of Life for Aaron Sean Contreras, 25, of Lamesa will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Medley officiating. Arrangements are under the care of Branon Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at Branon Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Aaron passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025 in Martin County, Texas. He was born on March 1, 2000 to Gerardo and Michelle (Rodriguez) Contreras in Brownfield, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Desiree Villegas of Lamesa; children, Jeremiah Lee Contreras, Rylee Marie Contreras, Everly Rose Contreras, Sophia Mea Contreras, and Isaac Zea Contreras; parents Michelle and Jose Mendoza of Lamesa; sisters, Xena Contreras and husband Josh Walton of Lamesa, and Savannah Mendoza of MI; brothers, Jonathan Contreras of Lamesa, Justin Contreras of Welch, Jerry Contreras of Odessa, Isaiah Villegas, Zaden Villegas, and Gavin Villegas; and grandmother, Minerva Villegas of Smyer.
He was preceded by his grandparents, Manuel and Maria Rodriguez of Brownfield, Quinton and Margarita Contreras of Welch, Pedro Villegas of Smyer, and Rosita Mendoza of Lamesa; father, Gerardo Esequiel Contreras; and brother, Brandon Lee Contreras.
