Mauro Sanchez Jr, age 68 passed away in Brownfield, TX Sunday, June 12, 2023. The family will receive friends for a two-day visitation beginning Friday, June 16, 2023, 1-8 p.m. at Grace Funeral Care located at 1211 Lubbock Road in Brownfield. Additional visitation will take place Saturday, June 17, 2023, 1-8 p.m. followed by cremation.
Mauro was born May 17, 1955, to Mauro Sr. and Cristina Sanchez in Hondo TX. He was a 1977 graduate of Meadow High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 4 years and was honorably discharged. He was a hardworking farmhand for over 40 years before he retired.
Mauro was a kindhearted person who would help anyone in need. He was a very hard worker. He loved to talk about his kids and grandchildren. He enjoyed playing baseball, he loved his trucks, and loved to listen to music. He was known to give funny nicknames and joke around with family and friends. He was a great man and will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his 3 kids Vanessa Davila, Luis (Katie)Davila, and Ariel (Nick) Swann, 7 Sisters Rosie (Jorge)Natal, San Juanita Franco, Sofia (Juan) Vasquez, Dominga (Henry) Galindo, Alice (Erasmo) Rodriguez, Lydia Gloria Sanchez, Sulema Sanchez, 1 brother Juan (Becky)Sanchez. 4 grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by Parents Mauro Sr. and Cristina Sanchez. brother Gregory Sanchez, Sisters Maria Wandell, and Cristina Sanchez. Great niece Kaitlyn M Garcia and Brother-in-Law Larry Franco
