In a message from Joint Elections Administrator Krystal Valentin, Eric Horton was named new Republican Party Chair.
The statement read:
“Just an update that Eric Horton is the new Republican Party Chair, any candidates that are interested in filing with the Republican Party can contact him.
“Geronimo Gonzales is still the Democratic Party Chair and any candidates interested in filing with the Democratic Party can contact him.
“If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to email, call or stop by.”
The number for the elections office is 806 300-8965.
Horton stated, “I am honored to be appointed to this position. I hope that I can be a huge help for those who are running for office in the Republican Party.”
Filing has begun for the March Primary.
