Funeral Services for Jesus Nava, 97, of Denver City, Texas will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 17, 2021 in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Jose Ruiz officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City
Jesus passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Denver City, Texas in his home.
Jesus was born on June 27, 1924 in Allende Coahuila, Mexico to Octaviano and Carmen Lopez Nava. He married Maria J. Avalos on November 21, 1952 in Acuna Coahuila, Mexico. He worked and retired from the oil field with G&G Oil Pump Company. He and his family were long time members of the Denver City Community, and also a member of the Assembly Apostolica Church.
He was preceded in death by her parents.
Jesus is survived by his wife Maria J. Nava of the home; six daughters Ramona N. Gonzales, Carmen Casarez, Rosa Ramos, Victoria Maness all of Denver City; Maribel Nava, Maria De Jesus Lopez both of San Marcos; a son Aurelio Flores of Lubbock; along with twenty-one grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren
