Tony Dill’s final peanut crop was a personal best. Farm Press celebrates his production and leadership.
Long time Terry County farmer Tony Dill will be honored posthumously in July with the 2021 Peanut Efficiency Award from Southwest Farm Press.
Tony’s best crop was his last crop, and sadly, Tony was not around to enjoy that harvest. Tony died with COVID complications in late October of 2020.
Friends and family rallied around the Dill’s to complete the peanut harvest, as well as the cotton harvest. Tony’s family will receive the award in his name in Florida in July.
