Robert was born on July 23, 1942, to Trinidad and Santos Munoz in McPherson, Minnesota. He was the proud son of migrant farmers and enjoyed spending time laboring in the fields and farms throughout his life. His greatest passion was his family. He married the love of his life, Maria Gonzalez, on January 12, 1964, in Brownfield, Texas. Together, they were blessed with three wonderful children, nine grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren who filled his heart with joy. He was one of twelve siblings.
He took pride in having the prettiest yard in Wellman and the straightest cotton rows in Terry and Gaines counties. Robert enjoyed fishing, listening to norteño music, and dancing with his beautiful wife of 55 years. Most importantly, he cherished being surrounded by his loving family. He especially loved having all of his grandkids sleep over or coming together for holidays and celebrations. Seeing his house full of grandkids having a great time with Grandma and Grandpa brought him immense joy.
