The 14th Annual San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Wine Competition took place on Monday and Tuesday, September 30 and October 1, 2024, with a Championship Round on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. A highly experienced panel of 60 judges was invited to taste and score 1,025 wines in order to select the award-winning wines for the 2024-2025 Rodeo events. Although the competition occurs in 2024, the award year will be represented as 2025, coinciding with the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo in February 2025.
More than 340 wineries from around the world submitted entries, including 37 from Texas. You can find many of these award-winning wines at your nearest H-E-B throughout February 2025, or you can order them online at heb.com. Come and see these winners at the Champion Wine Auction Dinner on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Alzafar Shrine Auditorium.
