Talk of the Town: May 11 – 16, 2026

by Eric

It was another fun and informative morning on the Talk of the Town Show as we covered the latest happenings from across Brownfield, Terry County, and the South Plains. We talked about upcoming community events, local news, school activities, and exciting things taking place around the area as we continue celebrating what makes our communities special.

As always, we also took a look at the National Day Calendar and highlighted several “This Day in History” moments that made for some great conversation and laughs along the way. From interesting historical events to fun national celebrations, there was something for everyone during today’s show.

We also discussed upcoming community opportunities, local sports updates, and ways residents can stay involved and connected throughout the week. The Talk of the Town Show continues to be your local source for positive stories, information, and community connection right here in the Star of the South Plains.

Thank you to everyone who tuned in this morning on Facebook Live and through the TownTalk App. If you missed the show live, be sure to catch the replay on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.
