Graveside services for Ruth Marie Hankins, 76, of Seagraves will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Sweetwater City Cemetery in Sweetwater, Texas. She passed away Saturday, October 21st in Denver City.
Marie was born December 29,1940 in Tahoka, Texas to James Wilson and Eula Mae Potts. Marie married Ken Hankins June 2, 1977 in Slaton, Texas. She graduated from Draughons Business College; was a prior resident of Abilene for over 25 years; a member of the Abilene Baptist Church; and had been employed at the Salvation Army and Goodwill as a cashier in Abilene.
Marie is survived by her husband Ken Hankins of Seagraves; a brother Rodger Potts and his wife Cindy of Seagraves; along with two nieces Katie Huse and her husband Brace, Sara Potts; two great-nephews Camden and Corbin and a great-niece Cambrie.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Family and friends visitation will be held Tuesday, October 24th from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Seagraves.
