Seagraves- Robert Lloyd Vuicich, 62, of Seagraves passed peacefully from this life on Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his home. Services will be held Thursday, May 24th, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Seagraves. Rev. Ovidio Martinez will officiate assisted by Rev. Jr. Martinez and Rev. L.D. Hinson. Interment will follow at the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole. Bobby was born in Seagraves, Texas, on June 1, 1955, to Guy and Margaret Vuicich. He graduated from Seagraves High School in 1973. He attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Art Education in 1978. Upon graduation, Bobby joined his father, Guy Vuicich, in the family business of commercial and residential refrigeration in Seagraves and was the owner of Guy’s Refrigeration at the time of his death. He was also involved in real estate dealings in the community of Seagraves. On September 23, 1978, Bobby married Anna Jaycene Bellah and she preceded him in death on June 12, 1992. Bobby was a devoted father, and for the next 18 years, he raised their four children, Robert Chancellor, Chase Jeremy, Christen Jaycene, and Chelsee Jacquelene, as a single father. On October 2, 2010, Bobby married Elena Jimenez. Together Bobby and Elena spent many happy times traveling in their RV to many parts of the country and attending concerts and Texas Tech football games. Bobby and Elena enjoyed the time they were together with a love for the life they shared. Bobby loved his hometown of Seagraves and was involved in many civic activities, including Celebrate Seagraves, formally on the Seagraves city council and was recently elected to serve as mayor. Bobby was also an active member of the Sendero Pathway Assembly of God Church in Seagraves. Bobby loved life; his family and his many friends. He was enthusiastic about whatever he was doing. He loved the time he spent with his wife, Elena, his children, and his family. He loved the Lord, and he loved being with his church family. Bobby is survived by his wife Elena; his son, Chase Vuicich and his wife Jesika and their sons, Jase and Jathan; his daughters, Christen Vuicich and Chelsee Vuicich; his mother, Margaret Vuicich; his brother Mike Vuicich and his wife Judy; his sister Melba Carmichael and her husband Tim and their children, Lyndsey, Lauren and Tyler. His stepsons, Raul Hernandez, Jr.; Jeremy Ryan Hernandez and his wife Angela; Joshua Hugo Hernandez and his wife Alex, their children, Faith and Hugo, Jr.; and Matthew Edward Hernandez. Bobby was adored by his grandchildren; Nicholas Hernandez, Andres Hernandez, Jase Vuicich, Nathian Hernandez, Jathan Vuicich, Faith Hernandez, and Hugo Hernandez, Jr. Bobby is also survived by his dog, BooBoo. Bobby was also preceded in death by his son Chancellor Vuicich on August 23, 2006, and his father, Guy Vuicich on July 8, 1996. Pallbearers will be Robby Vestal, Bud Vuicich, Jamie Collingsworth, Rick Martinez, Gary Jameson, Mike Jameson, Waylon Moore, and Lee Lerma. Honorary pallbearers will be Doug Scott, Joe Huckert, and Jr. Jimenez. Memorials may be made to the Sendero Pathway Assembly of God Church in Seagraves (P.O. Box 998, or email senderopathway@gmail.com) or to a charity of your choice. Viewing will be: Wednesday, May 23, at Sendero Pathway AG, from 12:00 – 8:00pm. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
